Limited One Year Consumer Warranty

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If at any time up to one year from the date when the DuPont Teflon® Advanced carpet protector was applied, the treated carpet is stained by water or oil-based materials as a result of normal household activities and the stains cannot be removed according to DuPont recommendations, DuPont will arrange for a professional carpet cleaner to remove the stains at no cost to you. If the professional cleaner cannot remove the stains, DuPont will refund the price you paid for the application of DuPont Teflon® Advanced carpet protector. Upon receipt of reimbursement, this Warranty becomes null and void.

QUALIFICATIONS

To become valid, the Warranty must be filled out completely at the time of application. The professional cleaner who applies the DuPont Teflon® Advanced carpet protector must record the location and types of all stains on your carpet before it is cleaned. Your original sales receipt will be your proof of purchase. Be sure to retain this completed Warranty in your files. It will be your only means of activating the Warranty should a problem occur.

Notify DuPont of your claim within five days of the stain occurring by calling 1-800-844-5463. Do not contact a professional cleaner yourself; if one is required, DuPont will make the arrangements.

EXCLUSIONS

This Warranty does not cover:

• Pre-existing stains
• Stains caused by dyes, inks, bleaches, plant fertilizer, corrosive liquids,
  acne preparations, insecticides, abuse, everyday use, or natural disasters,
  such as floods, fire or earthquakes
• Carpets in rental or commercial establishments
• General soiling resulting from everyday carpet use
• Cleaning methods that differ from those recommended by the professional
  cleaner DuPont has selected

SPECIFIC RIGHTS

This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties which might arise with respect to DuPont liability for this product including, without limitations, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular use. (Some states prohibit limitations on the duration of implied warranties, as well as the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you, the purchaser, specific legal rights; other rights, which vary from state to state, may also apply.) Please be aware of terms of existing warranties you have on your carpet.
